The Money Makers are all about promoting Maths and Numeracy throughout the school. We want everyone to understand how maths will help them in everyday life!
This year we will be focusing on ways to raise money for our chosen charity: Teams4U.
We have already met this year and shared initial ideas on fundraising events, we look forward to putting these ideas into action throughout the school year.
In addition, we’re also responsible for sorting out the fruit and veg orders on a Monday morning, delivering these to classes and ensuring the prices are right with the supplier!
In January 2024 we launched our initiative to improve class attendance across the school. Each week we award £10 vouchers to classes with attendance of over 98% – and double this if they have 100% attendance. Classes can save their vouchers or spend them on things to improve their classrooms or help with their work. We announce the winners in assembly on a Friday. You’ve got to be in it to win it – so come on everyone, attend school everyday!
